Solar Montana was established in the spring of 2005 by Jackson Isbell, the owner/operator. Since then, Solar Montana has installed and serviced over 500 alternative energy systems in Helena and the surrounding area. We pride ourselves in providing a thorough and intimate installation service for every system we install.
Jackson Isbell’s Qualifications:
Justin joined Solar Montana in spring 2018. Trained by Jack Isbell and Mark Whitman in solar installations and technologies. With a background in telecommunications and many construction industries Justin has found that solar is both a challenge and rewarding. He enjoys working with the local Montana customers and his coworkers. He has installed and worked on over 200 PV systems in Montana. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, being outdoors, speaking spanish, and photography. “I look forward to working for you or your business”
Matt is a recent transplant from Alaska and joined Solar Montana in 2020. His interest in solar came from retrofitting a cargo van to a solar powered, off-grid home which he spent nearly 2 yrs living out before settling in Helena. Previous work experience includes designing and maintaining cathodic protection systems, project management, and field engineering. His other activities include rock climbing, backcountry skiing, and mountain biking.
