Kyle’s interest in renewable energy started with building a cabin just outside of Helena that is completely off the grid with solar power and rainwater harvesting.  Before coming to Solar Montana, his work experience involved carpentry, construction management, and house design.  He started working with Solar Montana in 2011, and has designed and installed hundreds of solar arrays.  In 2016, he build a fully solar powered house where he now lives full time.  Outside of work his interests include rock climbing, backcountry skiing, and architecture.
