Jackson Isbell
Solar Montana was established in the spring of 2005 by Jackson Isbell, the owner/operator. Since then, Solar Montana has installed and serviced over 750 alternative energy systems in Helena and the surrounding area. When not spending time with his wife and sons, Jack can be found biking on the local trails.
Jackson Isbell’s Qualifications:
- SEI International Training
- NABCEP PV Installation Professional (PVIP) Board Certification (since 2008)
- OSHA Trained
- Former Board Member of the Montana Renewable Energy Association and Former Chair of the Industrial Engagement Committee
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Information Systems from the University of Montana.
Matt Goudreau
Matt, originally from Alaska, joined Solar Montana in 2020. His interest in solar came from retrofitting a cargo van to a solar powered, off-grid home which he spent nearly 2 years living out of before settling in Helena. Previous work experience includes designing and maintaining cathodic protection systems, project management, and field engineering. His other activities include rock climbing, backcountry skiing, and mountain biking.

Belinda Romero
Belinda is an Administrative Assistant extraordinaire. She is the first voice you hear when calling the office, the face you see when walking in, and also the person responsible for collecting data for solar installation proposals. With over 10 years of experience in Administrative Assistance, she strongly believes that excellent customer service is the foundation of Solar Montana. Having lived in Helena, MT for 14 years, she considers it the best move she has ever made. She enjoys volunteering in the community and traveling around Montana to various events, utilizing her volunteer skills. Amron Christensen
Amron moved from Colorado in 2021 after working in Wind Energies as a Traveling technician. He has always had an interest in renewable energy, and immediately started secondary education for renewables out of high school. He graduated in 2020 with an A.A.S. in Wind Energy and began working in the field. After moving to Helena, he started with Solar Montana and has been with us since! His other interests include competitive bowling and model ship construction.
